Abyssinians are an intelligent breed and remain kittens for most of their lives. They make great companions and are very loyal. Aby's also get on with many other breeds of cat (given the proper introduction), and being quite ‘canine' in nature they tend to get on very well with dogs.
The look of an Abyssinian is also rather special. They are medium built, 'foreign type' cats. Their coat pattern has a very distinctive ‘ticked' effect which is similar to that of a wild rabbit's fur. The Abyssinian is an athletic breed and very agile, perfectly designed to get up to mischief!
